If you want a interesting, sweet, thought provoking and visually pleasing art piece...
Play this game.
You will be glad you did.

And btw, not only did vorvy make a great art piece. He went out of his way to help me experience this game. (Not having PayPal was a problem for me).

I'm really loving this game, but I feel like I have a serious case of the dumb regarding the locked room.  I read the note in the room that you can go into on the final day, and I have looked at the drawings around the ship and I think I know what to do but it's not doing it.  Am I thinking too much with A=1, B=2...?  So to 'type' the word 'example' I'd need to score '5 24 1 13 16 12 5'?  And if so, do I need to make sure to not 'misspell' the word using the inputs?

Yo, thanks man! No you're not dumb, in fact you're most of the way there. A is 1, B is 2, and so forth like you said. The key is the line "as day subsides to darker day", so basically each day on the ship you need to score only one letter of the key word. There are seven days, so one letter per day. Let me know if this helps. Sorry, I'm not an expert puzzle maker lol

that helps SO much!  I was trying to get them all on the final day, but doing so without 'misspelling' the score was rough.  I'll try this again tonight

thank you again.  the locked room is so worth it and it has pushed this game to the forefront of favorite games I've played.  I'm trying to convince all my friends to pick this up.  Such a well made, thoughtful game!  And I love that the locked room reward lets me know that as of now 21 other people have entered the locked room.  Super cool!

Aw man, thank you so much, that's honestly one of the nicest things anyone has said about the game to me. And yea, I was thinking that too ha, it's kinda cool that you can see how many people have figured it out. Thanks so much for playing and spreading the word!

Where and when can I buy a physical version of your game? I found your game on homebrew-factory, but the prepaid orders are over.

aw man, sorry that's the last of the carts for now. If enough people are interested maybe we could do a third round of preorders, but we'd need at least 25 people willing to get one. I'd say follow homebrew factory on instagram, if it ever becomes available they'll post it on there!

Oh yes. Please a thrid round. Your game looks so cool. I can advertise your game.

My fiancé and I enjoyed your gamwe, Vorvy. The art, music, story, all of it was excellent. Looking forward to a second play through to open the door.

Thank you so much! That RPC is a coveted thing nowadays, I myself have the black model ha

Was following you on Reddit and wanted to make sure I supported you. This is an awesome experience and exactly what I needed in my life right now. Thank you for this.

man, thanks so much, that really means a lot. Glad you enjoyed it!

Really enjoyed it, I thought maybe this had something to do with unlocking the door but apparently not.  Anyway, here it is on the Gameboy I’ve owned nearly 40 years.  Added a new LCD recently.

Saw your post on Reddit and just had to pick up copy! Will be trying it on my GB Pocket as soon as my Everdrive arrives 🙏

Just finished my first play through. Beautiful game. Well worth the price of admission. Will definitely play it again to circle back to things I think I missed and try to open the door. Played on my analogue pocket, but I may try it on OG hardware. Kept thinking of the songs Peal of the Stars and Far by Coheed and Cambria while playing. Thanks and keep up the good work!

Loved it, just finished my first play through, hit me in the feels. I really like the music and mini game was fun as well. Now to open that door!
(1 edit) (+2)

Really enjoyed my first playthrough, now I'm gonna try to open that door. If I do some things on specific days, will I notice that it triggered something o will It show only on the last day, when the door opens or not?

(+1)

Thanks for playing! Yes, it will only show on the last day when the door opens. Let me know if you need any help. So far it seems like people have been able to figure it out, but I'm no expert at making puzzles, ha, so don't feel bad if you need a hint or something

(+1)

It was not easy but I figured it out and it was worth it, I really enjoyed the game!
Maybe if players can't figure it out a subtle hint (e.g. reaction change after triggering something on a specific day is helpful - although not really necessary because it's a short playthrough).

Thank you for this game!

Can you include the manual as well?

I don't currently have a manual, but what is it you need help with?

Oh nothing I just thought that since there was a physical on homebrew factory that there was a manual.

My DIY cartridge for your game with my gameboys

Really enjoyed playing through this late night, over the weekend once the household was asleep. My set up was the rom, through Delta, pushed to my tv. Love the photographic art and cut scenes. Just ace.

Want to do it on a DMG now

Man, thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it

holy moly, getting that door open took a lot of thinking. I’m not great at cryptic puzzles, but wow, that kept me thinking. I wasn’t sure if things done on a particular day had a flow on effect. But now I know. What was in there was unexpected and really cool.
Again, rad game

Man, thanks so much for taking the time to figure it out and not giving up! Glad the end result was worth it, ha. Thanks for playing!

I've used my last empty cart for writing Your game on it.

And it worst it :-)

Is there only one ending? And I didn't opened one door.. Did I missed something?

There are clues you find on the last day! If you play again and do the right things, it'll unlock the door

(+1)

Just found how many content I've missed for first play.

Second play wasn't good enough but I've found my mistakes in it already.

I'm strongly recommend replay this game several times!

Cool, let me know if you figure out how to open the door!

Closed door is closed for me still :)

I'll give you a hint: there's another room that you're able to enter only on the last day. It has a poster on the wall that has a riddle to solving the puzzle

Love this little gem!!! Any chance for us to get a sequel? Or another space adventure point and click type? :)

Thanks for playing! Probably no sequel for this one, but I definitely see making something new down the road! I'm thinking of trying GBC next, and I have a few ideas floating around

What a cozy little game. Looking forward to curling up to it this weekend. Couple questions. Is there a way to pause? And does sleeping save?

Thanks again. Looks great on the chromatic

There's no way to pause, but the game is divided into days (sort of like chapters) that you can access from the main menu if you select "return". Each day ends when you decide to go to bed, which you can do whenever you feel like you've seen everything there is to see. Those would probably function best as stopping points if you want to break up your playthrough. Also, feel free to send a pic of the game on your chromatic! I love seeing everyone's setup

thanks for the reply!  And I’m torn on what pallet to use. I wish you success with this charming little game.

ha sweet. I like the blue one, personally

supposedly the gray scale

looking cool on your Chromatic. I would also choose for blue, it looks more spacey :)

saw your post on reddit and purchased it once I knew I could run it on my DSpico!

sweet, enjoy!

Great game!

Thank you so much! And everything about that picture is gorgeous lol
